Can my cards still be authenticated and graded after cleaning & restoration?
Yes, your cards can be authenticated and graded after cleaning and restoration. This is a RESTORATION ONLY service whereby nothing is added or detracted from the card's original material/artwork. This means that when your card is in front of a grader, there is nothing there for them to deem it as "Altered". Card graders will NOT grade or authenticate cards that have been ALTERED; this means adding or detracting from the card's original material/artwork, such as covering up whitening with blue marker/paint or using adhesives to glue down lifted/raised corners/edges. Note: even if asked on request (I WILL NOT MAKE ALTERATIONS TO YOUR CARD) regardless if you are grading it or not. This is bad practice that I WILL NOT participate in under any circumstances! PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ASKING!
What can cleaning achieve for my cards, and what are its limitations?
Important Note: Whilst we both dream of seeing your card returned in pack fresh minty condition, we do however need to be realistic in what can be achieved by safe & natural means of restoration. I can most certainly make your card(s) clean, shiny & sparkling again, proud of being display worthy. However, I am no magician; I'm a one-man band with a set of tools, knowledge and know-how doing my best to make sure I achieve customer satisfaction. Your card's restoration is a journey and is not something that can or should be rushed. ********* DISCLAIMER ********* Professional card grading is subjective and consists of 4 sub-grade factors and the mood and leniency of the card grader on the day. Due to these factors, which are out of my control, I will not be held ***LIABLE*** for your card(s) grading outcome.
What's the process from sending my cards to getting them back?
Once you have selected your submission service level, it's very easy from there onwards. Simply package up your cards in the traditional safe way (sleeve/toploader/bubblewrapped/box). Post your submission and remember to provide your TRACKING NUMBER. This ensures I have your package logged via Royal Mail and can see its progress in transit. You will be notified that your cards have arrived on the day of arrival. You will be provided 'Before & After' photos of your card(s) upon service completion. Your cards will be returned on completion by the same method they were submitted (Royal Mail tracked & recorded 24 or Special Delivery).
